Over the last several months, we have been working closely with D. Joel to bring Robert Brown’s new upholstery collection to life. After countless sketches, meetings, and computer mock-ups, the collection is here, and it’s stunning.
BESPOKE is Robert Brown’s second furniture collection, and it maintains the integrity of the earlier designs, yet adds new dimension by incorporating more contemporary silhouettes and an array of masculine fabrics. True to Robert Brown form, the pieces on display at Townhouse are upholstered in rich wools, linens and velvets in shades of taupe and gray.
The Fitzgerald Daybed, shown in the drawing below and the proceeding two images, commands a full page in the August issue of Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles.
The silhouettes of our new collection are tailored but classic. The armless Macrae sofa, shown below, embraces simplicity with its clean lines and unfussy upholstery.
The Edmund Sofa, pictured below, is a bit more buttoned-up.
We selected a luxurious shade of charcoal wool fabric for the Alexander chair below.
The Macrae chair below is a modified version of our Macrae sofa.
The Miles Chair below is covered in cream linen.

This week’s must-have item from Townhouse: This pair of antique Louis XVI chairs, likely from the early 1950s. We found them at Marché aux Puces St-Ouen de Clignancourt in Paris, and we were excited to see that they are completely original. Email Townhouse for more information.
